I was watching TV one day and a question came up. What haven’t you done in your life? I thought about it. I have been living in NJ for a long time and have never been to LBI. The next day after setting the alarm at 5AM I took a ride down the Garden State Parkway to arrive in time for an early breakfast.
I found Scojo’s Eatery a popular family run establishment which opened on the cusp of the millennium in 1998. Scott and Joe were the original owners who recently passed the baton to Andy and Donna. Lindsay a long time resident waited on the table. She was affable, amicable and informative She advised me on the daily doings in LBI along with free on street parking. The menu offerings range from Omelette, Eggs Benedict to Veggie skillets. You get the picture. Eating on Long Beach Blvd is no less spectacular than eating al fresco anywhere. The joy of outdoor dining can not be matched on a Summer day. Treat yourself to a jaunt down the shore wake up early and smell the coffee.
